Starting April 6, 2020, the Land Transportation Office will require aspiring drivers to undergo 15 hours of training in an accredited driving school before they can secure a student driver’s permit following the Memorandum Circular 2019-2176 issued December 2019.

The driving course is divided into three five-hour sessions which will cover Introduction to Driving and Traffic Rules and the Land Transportation Related Special Laws.
