The Philippine National Police (PNP) is the armed, civilian national police force in the Philippines. It is administered and controlled by the National Police Commission and is part of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Interested applicants are advised to apply online or personally submit documentary requirements during the conduct of Body Mass Index Measurement on September 29 to October 2, 2020, 6:00 AM at QCPD Covered Court, Camp Tomas Karingal, Quezon City. Documentary Requirements

For initial requirements kindly prepare the following:

1. Mayor's Recommendation (Original);

2. PSA issued:
  • Birth Certificate of the PNP applicant /personnel (Original);
  • Issued Advisory on Marriage of PNP applicant /personnel (Original);
  • Issued Advisory on Marriage of Spouse (Original);
  • Issued Marriage Contract (Original);
  • Issued Birth Certificate of dependents (Original), for both single and married;
  • Issued Certificate of Non Marriage (CENOMAR) [Original], if single;

    2. Affidavit of undertaking regarding incontestability of Declared Birth Date;

    3. Photocopy of Valid ID with three (3) specimen signature;

    4. College Diploma (authenticated);

    5. Transcript of Records (authenticated);

    6. Certificate of Good Moral Character (authenticated) [from school];

    7. Eligibility Report of Rating (authenticated);

    8. PRC Eligibility shall also attach the Authenticated PRC Licensed ID (date of authentication is CY 2020);

    9. Clearances (Original):
    • Barangay
    • Police
    • Prosecutor/Fiscal
    • Mayor
    • NBI
    • Municipal Trial Court (MTC)/Metropolitan Trial Court (METC) 
    • Regional Trial Court (RTC)

      10. Service Record from Previous employment on the government service, if any (Original);

      11. Picture:
      • 1 colored Whole-Body Picture (White V-Neck Shirt, Maong Pants and White Rubber Shoes)
      • 1 colored Bust-size(White V-Neck);
      • 2x2 colored with Name Tag (White V-Neck);

      12. Tax Identification Number, if any

      13. Waiver:
      • Height Waiver issued by NAPOLCOM (authenticated), if any; and
      • Age Waiver issued by NAPOLCOM (authenticated), if age is 31 and ABOVE


      These are the basic qualifications set by Republic Act (RA) No. 6975, as amended by RA 8551:

      1. A citizen of the Philippines;

      2. A person of good moral character;

      3. Must have passed the psychiatric/psychological, drug and physical tests to be administered by the PNP;

      4. Must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized learning institution;

      5. Eligible in accordance with the standards set by the NAPOLCOM

      6. Must not have been dishonorably discharged from military employment or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government;

      7. Must not have been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;

      8. Must be at least one meter and sixty-two centimeters (1.62m) in height for male and one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57m)

      9. Must weigh no more or less than 5 kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex; and

      10. Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age.

      NOTE: An applicant shall be considered to be 21 years of age on his/her 21st birthday and shall be considered more than thirty (30) years of age on his/her 31st birthday.

      How to Apply

      Applicants may apply online or personally submit their documentary requirements during the conduct of Body Mass Index Measurement on September 29 to October 2, 2020, 6:00 AM at QCPD Covered Court, Camp Tomas Karingal, Quezon City.

      Please also bring MESU/CESU Health Certificate, Food, water and alcohol spray.

      Attire: Black shorts, white t-shirts, white rubber shoes, surgical mask, and face shield.

      Online application can be filed thru the PNP Online Recruitment at a web-based and central recruitment application system.

      • Prepare your DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS before accessing the link because it is required to be uploaded to the system.
      • The system will accept PDF or JPEG or PNG Format of your scanned documents.
      • Original Copy or Certified Copy, as the case may be, of your documents are still required to be submitted.
      • Best accessed with laptop or desktop but can still be accessed through phone browsers. Strong Internet Connection is recommended.

      What is an appointment under a Waiver Program?

      1. The age, height and weight for initial appointment to the PNP may be waived only when the number of qualified applicants falls below the approved national;/regional quota;

      2. The NAPOLCOM en banc may grant height waiver to a member of an indigenous group within the region as certified by the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) or Office on Muslim Affairs (OMA);

      3. Waiver of the age requirement may be granted only provided the applicant is not less than 20 nor more than 35 years of age;

      4. Waiver of the height requirement may granted to a male applicant who is 1.57 m and a female applicant who is 1.52 m. A lower height requirement may be set for applicants belonging to indigenous group as certified by the NCIP.

      What are the documents required in filing application for waivers?

      a. Civil Service Personal Data Sheet

      b. NSO-authenticated Birth Certificate;

      c. Authenticated Certificate of Eligibility;

      d. Authenticated Transcript of Records/Diploma;

      e. Certificate of Trainings/Special Skills;

      f. Annual recruitment quota (to be provided by the PNP);

      g. Worksheet of Final Deliberation

      h. Certification under oath that there are no more qualified candidates to fill the quota;

      i. Justification/Board Resolution recommending the applicant for a waiver; and NCIP certificate (for height waiver applicants only)

      NOTE: The application for grant waiver must be endorsed by the Director/Regional Director of the processing unit to the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management for subsequent processing.

      What are the factors to be considered in the grant of waivers?

      1. Outstanding accomplishments or possession of special skills in law enforcement, police work, martial arts, marksmanship and similar skills;

      2. Special talents in the field of sports, music and others; and Extensive experience or training in training in forensic science and other technical services.


      Successful candidates will be appointed to the initial rank of Police Patrolman with a gross monthly salary of P29,668.00 with other mandated allowances and benefits.
