The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology - Region 3 is now accepting applicants for the position of Jail Officer 1 for 2024 quota.

General qualifications for appointment to Jail Officer 1

 

Applicants must strictly meet the following qualification requirements:

• A Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
  
• A person of good moral character;
• Must have passed the neuro-psychiatric evaluation, medical examination and drug test for the purpose of determining physical and mental health; 
  
• Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
• Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE Professional, RA 1080, and Penology Officer Eligibility, PD 907 Honor Graduate Eligibility); 
• Must not have been dishonorably discharged of dismissal for cause from previous employment;
  
• Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
• Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age;
• Must be atleast one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m) in height for Male and one meter and fifty-two centimeters (1.52 m) in height for Female. Provided that a waiver for height requirement shall be automatically granted to applicants belonging to the cultural communities; and
  
• Must weigh not more or less than five (5) kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex

D. Authenticated copy of Certificate of Eligibility (CSC) / Board Rating and PRC ID and 1 photocopy

 

E. Photocopy of  Birth Certificate (PSA)

 

F. Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (PSA) if applicable

 

G. Photocopies of Clearances

- NBI Clearance

- Police Clearance

- Barangay Clearance

- Fiscal / Prosecutor Clearance

- MTC Clearance

- RTC Clearance

H. Photocopy of PNP Directorate of Intelligence or RID Clearance

I. Valid Community Tax Certificate

J. Sketch map of Residency and 4R Whole Body Picture in white T-shirt white background

 

K. Hepatitis Screening B Result (HBaSG Screening Result)

L. PAG-IBIG, PHILHEALTH Number and TIN (Photocopy)

- Member Data Record (PHILHEALTH) 

- Member Data Form (PAG-IBIG)

- TIN ID / BIR Form 1905 /  Verification Slip (if available)

 

Checklist for Background Investigation (no tabbings, all photocopies except for PDS, sketch map and 4R Pic):

Salary

Jail Officer 1 will receive a  basic monthly salary of P29,668 upon oathtaking. A gross monthly salary of P37,448 will be received including the monthly salary and allowances.

Entry Level Examination (EnLEx)

Criminologist applicants are exempted to take the EnLEx. (Pursuant to Section 34 and 35, Article V of RA 11131 re: Privileges of Registered Criminologists.)
