The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology -  Region 7 announced that the accepting of the application folder for Jail Officer 1 of BJMP VII 2025 quota will start on October 21, 2024.


BJMP Region 7 is inviting all those interested and qualified applicants to be at SM City Cebu, Mabolo, ground floor. They will be there for the entire week from October 21-25, 2024. Kindly bring all the necessary documentary requirements.

General qualifications for appointment to Jail Officer 1


 
Applicants must strictly meet the following qualification requirements:

  • Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
  • A person of good moral character;
  • Must have passed the neuro-psychiatric evaluation, medical exam and drug test for the purpose of determining his/her physical and mental health;
  • Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
  • Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE Professional, RA 1080, and Penology Officer Eligibility, PD 907 Honor Graduate Eligibility, etc); 
  • Must not have been dishonorably discharged of dismissal for cause from previous employment;
  • Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
  • Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age; 
  • Must meet the required BMI (Body Mass Index); and
  • Must be atleast one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m) or 5 ft and 2 inches in height for Male and one meter and fifty-two centimeters (1.52 m) or 5.0 ft in height for Female, except that a waiver for height issued by the NCIP of NCMF shall be presented.

A. Duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS)  (revised 2017)
 
B. Birth Certificate issued by PSA
 
C. Marriage Certificate from PSA (if married)
 
D. Diploma
 
E. TOR 
 
F.  Certificate of Eligibility or  Board Rating (with PRC ID if applicable)
 
G. Barangay Clearance

H. Police Clearance/ National Police Clearance

I. NBI Clearance
J. Clearance from PNP Directorate for Intelligence (PNP Regional Office)
 
K. Court Clearances (Prosecutor, MTC and RTC)
 
L. NCIP / NCMF Certificate (if applicable)

M. Certificate of Previous Employment
 
N. Latest Hepa A B screening result



 


How to Apply



All interested JO1 applicants are advised to be at SM City Cebu, Mabolo, ground floor. BJMP Region 7 Recuitment will be there for the entire week from October 21-25, 2024. Kindly bring all the necessary documentary requirements.
 
And as to the application period, there is no deadline yet. BJMP Region 7 is still accepting application folders after the one week opening of the recruitment.
 
NOTE: Recruitment is open to all qualified applicants regardless of your professions as long as you meet the qualification standards.
 




Salary


Jail Officer 1 will receive a  basic monthly salary of P29,668 upon oathtaking. A gross monthly salary of P37,448 will be received including the monthly salary and allowances.
 

 

Entry Level Examination (EnLEx)


Criminologist applicants are exempted to take the EnLEx. (Pursuant to Section 34 and 35, Article V of RA 11131 re: Privileges of Registered Criminologists.)



Coverage of Entry Level Examination (EnLEx)


  • General Information – 20%
  • Mathematics – 20%
  • Basic English and Grammar – 30%
  • Sentence Arrangement and Paragraph Completion – 20%
  • Essay – 10%
