The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology - MIMAROPA (Region 4-B) is now accepting applicants for Jail Officer 1 for 2025 quota.
General qualifications for appointment to Jail Officer 1
Applicants must strictly meet the following qualification requirements:
- A Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
- A person of good moral character;
- Must
have passed the neuro-psychiatric evaluation, medical examination and
drug test for the purpose of determining physical and mental
health;
- Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
- Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE Professional, RA 1080, and Penology Officer Eligibility, PD 907 Honor Graduate Eligibility, MARINA Eligibility etc);
- Must not have been dishonorably discharged of dismissal for cause from previous employment;
- Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
- Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30 years of age, provided, that a waiver for age requirement shall be automatically granted to applicants belonging to the cultural communities/indigenous people;
- Must be at least one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m.) in height for males and one meter and fifty-two centimeters (1.52 m.) for females: provided, that a waiver for height requirement shall be automatically granted to applicants belonging to the cultural communities/indigenous peoples; and
- Weight must not be more or less than five kilograms (5 kgs.) from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex.

- Duly Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS)
- Transcript of Records (TOR)
- College Diploma
- Birth Certificate issued by PSA
- Certificate of Eligibility or Board Rating
- Clearances: NBI, Police, Barangay, MTC, RTC & Prosecutor's Office Clearances
- PNP Directorate for Intelligence Clearance
- Valid Community Tax Certificate
- Certificate/s of previous and present employment (if any)
- Certificate/s of Seminars/Trainings completed (if any)
- Marriage Certificate (if married)
- Certificate of Confirmation from NCIP (if applicable)

Salary
Basic Monthly Salary: P 29,668.00
Gross Monthly Salary: P 37,448.00
Entry Level Examination (EnLEx)
Criminologist
applicants are exempted to take the EnLEx. (Pursuant to Section 34 and
35, Article V of RA 11131 re: Privileges of Registered Criminologists.
