The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is an agency attached to the Department of Transportation (DoTr) of the Philippines mandated and responsible to perform maritime search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, maritime safety, marine environmental protection and maritime security.

Meet the qualifications

 

A. General Line Officers (GLO)

• Natural-born citizen of the Philippines
• Good Moral Character
• Single
•  At least twenty-one (21) but not more than twenty-eight (28) years of age at the date of appointment in the PCG Service
• At least 5’0″ (152.4 cm) for both male and female;
• Physically and mentally fit
• Baccalaureate Degree holder
• With Professional Civil Service Eligibility of at least 80% rating or PRC License for Deck and Engineering Officers, Pilot License issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), or any equivalent

B. Technical Line Officers (TLO)

 

B.1 TLO with the rank of CG Liutenant upon Commissionship

(Lawyers, Medical Doctors, Psychiatrists, Dentists, Veterinarians and Chaplain)

1. Natural-born Filipino Citizen
2. Good moral character
3. Single or Married
4. At least twenty-six (26) but not more than thirty-six (36) years of age upon appointment
5. At least 5'0" (152.4 cm) for both male or female
6. Physically and mentally fit
   
7. Bar or Board Passer in their respective fields of profession

 

B.2 TLO with the rank of CG Ensign upon Commissionship

(Nurses, Nutritionists, Psychologists, Radiologists, Psychometrician or other profession of the same level)

1. Natural-born Filipino Citizen
2. Good moral character
3. Single
4. At least twenty-one (21) but not more than twenty-eight (28) years of age upon appointment
5. At least 5'0" (152.4 cm) for both male or female
6. Physically and mentally fit
7. Board Passer in their respective fields of profession

C. Enlistment for Non-Commissioned Officer

 

1. Natural-born Filipino Citizen
2. Good moral character
3. Single
4. At least eighteen (18) but not more than twenty-eight (28) years of age at the date of appointment in PCG service
5. At least 5'2" (157.48 cm) in height for male and and 5.0 (152.4 cm) for female;
6. Physically and mentally fit
7. A graduate of K-12 degree program, or earned at least seventy-two (72) units in college in only one (1) course as reflected in the Transcript of Records (TOR) or a Baccalaureate Degree holder
8. With Sub-Professional Civil Service Eligibility or higher or with TESDA National Certificate (NCII) as identified priority skills and competency as required

Initial Requirements

• PSA Birth Certificate with receipt

•  NBI Clearance

•  Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) with receipt

• College Diploma (if any)

•  Transcript of Records (TOR) 

• Certificate of Eligibility / License

• 4R Colored Full Body Picture

•  2x2 Latest ID Picture with White Background and Name Tag

3. Must have a VALID AND WORKING EMAIL ADDRESS.

4. SCAN THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENT AND SAVE IT IN PDF FORMAT for uploading as part of the initial requirements:

• PSA Birth Certificate with receipt
• Valid NBI Clearance
• Valid Certificate of No marriage (CENOMAR) with receipt
• College Diploma
• Transcript of Record (TOR) / Certificate of Grades
• Certificate of Eligibility / TESDA Certificate with Valid QR Code
  

5. SECURE AN E-COPY OF WHOLE BODY PICTURE (4R) & 2X2 PICTURE IN WHITE BACKGROUND & WITH NAME TAG in JPEG, JPG & PNG FILE FORMAT for uploading as part of the initial requirement

6. Refer to the provided list of Human Resource Management Units / Districts and their corresponding addresses to select your preferred processing area.

7. Correct / legitimate personal information in mandatory in creating account. Use of nickname is not allowed.

8. Incorrect information may invalidate application
