The Bureau of Fire Protection Regional Office - Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BFP-BARMM) is now accepting applications for Fire Officer (FO1).

Qualification Standards for  Fire Officer 1

No person shall be appointed as uniformed personnel of the BFP unless he/she possesses the following qualifications:

• A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
• A person of good moral character;
• Must have passed the psychiatric / psychological, drug and physical tests;
• Must possess the Second Level Eligibility;
• Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for case from previous employment;
• Must be at least 1.62 meter height for male and and 1.57 meter for female;
• Must weigh no more or less than 5 kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex;
• Must not less than 21 nor more than 30 years old on the date of actual assumption of duty / oath of office.

Second Level Eligibility (any of the following)

• Career Service Professional (Civil Service Commission);
• Presidential Decree No. 907 (Honor Graduates - Civil Service Commission);
• Career Service Fire Officer Exam (CS FOE - Civil Service Commission);
• Republic Act 1080 (Board and Bar Exams - Professional Regulatory Commission);
• Officer-in-Charge Navigational Watch / Engineering Watch (Marina)

Documentary Requirements

Applicants must submit the following scanned authenticated documents, unavailability of an authenticated documents due to the COVID-19 pandemic should submit an Affidavit of Undertaking that they will submit the lacking documents prior to the Complete Background Investigation (CBI) containing the following to  rhrmpsb.barmm@gmail.com:

1. Application Letter addressed to the Regional Director

2. Authenticated Service Record and appointment form from previous government service (if applicable);

3. Handwritten Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent passport size picture with name tag and signature photo;

4. Report of Rating/Board Rating and PRC ID duly authenticated by PRC or Certificate of Eligibility duly authenticated by CSC

5. Transcript of Records duly authenticated by School Registrar and Diploma;

6. Birth Certificate (NSO/PSA in Original Copy)

7. Marriage Certificate (NSO/PSA in Original Copy) (for married female applicant only)

8. Clearances: Barangay, Mayor, MTC/MTCC, NBI, Police Clearance, RTC

9. Philhealth ID/MDR Form

10. Pag-ibig ID/MDR Form

11. TIN (if applicable)

12. Duly Approved Certificate of Waiver (for applicants with age and/or height deficiency/ies)

13. Certification from the Government Health Facility or DOH accredited private laboratories that laboratory examinations

were performed to an applicant.

Note: Medical and dental examinations shall be conducted by any government hospital and/or any DOH-accredited hospital/clinical laboratory hospital.

The following are the laboratory examinations to be undergone by the applicants:

1. ECG

2. Urinalysis

3. Complete Blood Count

4. Blood Typing

5. Hepa B Screening

6. Lipid Profile

7. Creatinine

8. Chest X-Ray

9. Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS)

10. Serum Pregnancy Test (for female)

11. Dental Panoramic X-Ray

12. Certification from the Laboratory Facility

The applicant must also advise the laboratory services provider to SEAL and SEND the result through PERSONAL SERVICE or COURIER to the address below:

Waivers (any of the following)

• National Certificate for Indigenous Peoples
• National Certificate for Muslim Filipinos
• Professional Drivers License with restriction code 1, 2 & 3
• Certificate of Fire Volunteer for atleast 6 months

Salary

Fire Officer 1 will receive a monthly basic salary of P29,668 (Salary Grade 10) upon oathtaking.
