The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology - Region 12 is now accepting applicants for the position of Jail Officer 1 for 2024 quota.

General qualifications for appointment to Jail Officer 1


 
Applicants must strictly meet the following qualification requirements:

  • A Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
  • A person of good moral character;
  • Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
  • Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE Professional, RA 1080, and Penology Officer Eligibility, PD 907 Honor Graduate Eligibility, etc); 
  • Must not have been dishonorably discharged of dismissal for cause from previous employment;
  • Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
  • Must be atleast one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m) or 5'2 ft in height for Male and one meter and fifty-two centimeters (1.52 m) or 5ft in height for Female.
  • Must weigh not more or less than five (5) kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex; and
  • Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age.

A. Duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS)  (revised 2017)
 
B. Photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by PSA
 
C. Authenticated copy of College Diploma
 
D. Authenticated copy of Transcript of Records (TOR)
 
E. Authenticated Certificate Eligibility or board rating (with PRC ID)
F. Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (if married)
 
G. Photocopy of NBI Clearance 

H. Photocopy of  Police Clearance

I. Photocopy of  Barangay Clearance
 
J. Photocopy of  Court Clearances
- Fiscal Clearance
- RTC
- MTC

K. Photocopy of COC of NCIP / NCMF Certificate (if necessary)

L. Photocopies of Certificate/s of previous and Present Employment
 
M. Valid Community Tax Certificate

N. Directorate for Intelligence Clearance (PNP Regional Office)

Salary


Jail Officer 1 will receive a  basic monthly salary of P29,668 upon oathtaking. A gross monthly salary of P37,488 will be received including the monthly salary and allowances.
 

 

Entry Level Examination (EnLEx)


Criminologist applicants are exempted to take the EnLEx. (Pursuant to Section 34 and 35, Article V of RA 11131 re: Privileges of Registered Criminologists.)



Coverage of Entry Level Examination (EnLEx)


  • General Information – 20%
  • Mathematics – 20%
  • Basic English and Grammar – 30%
  • Sentence Arrangement and Paragraph Completion – 20%
  • Essay – 10%
