The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology - Region 11 is now accepting applicants for the position of Jail Officer 1 for 2024 quota.

General qualifications for appointment to Jail Officer 1

 

Applicants must strictly meet the following qualification requirements:

• A Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
  
• A person of good moral character;
• Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
• Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE Professional, RA 1080, and Penology Officer Eligibility, PD 907 Honor Graduate Eligibility, etc); 
• Must not have been dishonorably discharged of dismissal for cause from previous employment;
  
• Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
• Must be atleast one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m) or 5'2 ft in height for Male and one meter and fifty-two centimeters (1.52 m) or 5ft in height for Female.
  
• Must weigh not more or less than five (5) kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex; and
  
• Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age.
  

Documentary Requirements

 

Submit all requirements in Blue Folder with tabbing and bring 1 passport size ID picture:

A. Original 2 copies Personal Data Sheet (PDS)  (revised 2017)

 

B. Original or authenticated copy of Transcript of Records (TOR) & CAV (Remarks: For Employment Purposes)

 

C. Original or authenticated copy of College Diploma

 

D. Photocopy of Birth Certificate

 

E. Authenticated copy of Eligibility

Note:

- if PRC passer, attached authenticated PRC ID

- if CSC passer, authenticated Certificate of Eligibility

F. Clearances: Barangay, NBI, Police, Fiscal, MTC and RTC Photocopy (1 photocopy each clearance)

 

 

G. Photocopy of Marriage Certificate from PSA (if married)

H. Sketch of Residence/Locality

I. Regional issued certificate from the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) or National issued Certificate from the Bureau of External Relations (BER/NCME for ISLAM), for age and/or height waiver

J. PNP - Directorate for Intelligence Clearance

 

How to Apply

All interested JO1 applicants are advised to submit their application folder to the BJMP Regional Office XI, BJMP Compound, Ma-a, Davao City.

Salary

Jail Officer 1 will receive a  basic monthly salary of P29,668 upon oathtaking. A gross monthly salary of P37,488 will be received including the monthly salary and allowances.

Entry Level Examination (EnLEx)

Criminologist applicants are exempted to take the EnLEx. (Pursuant to Section 34 and 35, Article V of RA 11131 re: Privileges of Registered Criminologists.)
