The Bureau of Fire Protection Regional Office III (Central Luzon) is now accepting applications for Fire Officer 1 (FO1).

Full details of recruitment process as well as program of activities for the simultaneous conduct of the CY 2021 regular recruitment and selection for new FO1s are listed through the memorandum released by the BFP Central Luzon last April 19, 2021:

Qualification Standards for  Fire Officer 1


No person shall be appointed as uniformed personnel of the BFP unless he/she possesses the following qualifications:
  • A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
  • A person of good moral character;
  • Must possess a Baccalaureate Degree (4-year Course Graduate);
  • Must have passed the psychiatric / psychological, drug and physical tests;
  • Must possess the Second Level Eligibility;
  • Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for case from previous employment;
  • Must be at least 1.62 meter height for male and and 1.57 meter for female;
  • Must weigh no more or less than 5 kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex;
  • Must not be less than 21 nor more than 30 years old on the date of actual assumption of duty / oath of office.

Second Level Eligibility (any of the following)


  • Career Service Professional (Civil Service Commission);
  • Presidential Decree No. 907 (Honor Graduates - Civil Service Commission);
  • Career Service Fire Officer Exam (CS FOE - Civil Service Commission);
  • Republic Act 1080 (Board and Bar Exams - Professional Regulatory Commission);
  • Officer-in-Charge Navigational Watch / Engineering Watch (Marina)

Documentary Requirements


Applicants are advised to prepare and upload the following scanned documents (in pdf format) (example: multiple pages like transcript of records with diploma must be in one pdf file).


A. Application Letter addressed to CSUPT MANUEL M. MANUEL, Regional Director, BFP Region 3, indicating the position applying for;

B. Handwritten/Computerized Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent 2"x2" ID Photo (wear white t-shirt with name tag and signature);

C. Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records and College Diploma;

D. Certified True Copy of Second Level Eligibility from CSC or PRC (for PRC License Holder, include unexpired PRC ID);

E. Birth Certificate issued by PSA;

F. Marriage Certificate (if applicable)

G.  NBI Clearance;

H. Certificate of waiver for applicants with age/height deficiency/ies duly signed by the Chief, BFP;

I. Philhealth Number (ID or MDR)

J. Pag-IBIG Number (ID or MDF); and

K. Tax Identification Number (ID or Verification Slip).




Waivers (any of the following)


(for applicants with age and/or height deficiency/ies)
  • National Certificate for Indigenous Peoples
  • National Certificate for Muslim Filipinos
  • Professional Drivers License with restriction code 1, 2 & 3
  • Certificate of Fire Volunteer for atleast 6 months

    Each applicant has the option to choose among the provinces above his/her preferred place of assignment and it shall be indicated in his/her application letter taking in consideration the quota per province as specified above.

    Applicants who fail to meet the Age and Height requirements will not be accepted unless they present a Certificate of Waiver signed by the Chief, BFP during the registration.



    Salary


    Fire Officer 1 will receive a monthly basic salary of P29,668 (Salary Grade 10) upon oathtaking.
